A good perfume just puts you in a good mood!
What doesn’t so much?
The price tag, of course.
Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum by Viktor & Rolf is my favorite perfume.
It costs $58 to $225 depending on the size of the bottle though!
That’s why I don’t often buy it!
When I’m looking to save a bit of money, I get free perfume samples. You don’t have to spend a cent to smell great.
Perfume samples also give you the chance to try out different fragrances without wasting your cash on a whole bottle that you don’t end up liking.
Try out fragrances on a budget by getting free perfume samples.

How to Get Free Perfume Samples
Here’s how you can score full and sample sized perfumes for free.
1. Browse freebie websites
Freebie websites gather free stuff from around the web and put them all in one convenient place.
These sites are great for finding links to current free perfume samples.
Here are some sites to check out:
2. Be a product reviewer with Sampler
Sampler gives you free perfume samples.
Visit the site and create an account. Tell Sampler about yourself so that the company can tailor the right samples and offers for you.
Check your account when the company emails you to see if they have any new samples for you. Leave a review once you’ve tried out your free perfume sample.
3. Order free samples from perfume brands & retailers online
Many perfume brands and stores where you can buy perfume allow customers to order free samples online.
Some examples include:
Please note that some retailers will require you to make a purchase in order to add free samples to your order. Some retailers will give you the samples for free but require you to pay a shipping fee.
Make a list of your favorite perfume brands. Next, visit the official site for each brand and check to see if they have a free sample section.
Alternatively, search the internet for “free perfume samples [name of brand]”. Like, “free perfume samples Louis Vuitton,” for example.
4. Contact companies directly
Not all companies have a free samples page on their site. Does this mean that they aren’t handing them out at all?
No!
Some companies do indeed give samples of their fragrances. They just don’t advertise it on their site.
Simply get in touch with your favorite perfume brands and ask if they have any free samples that they’d be willing to send to you.
Just be polite and let the brand know how you love their products and would like to try some of them out.
This can be a good way to get free perfume samples by mail.
Some of the top perfume brands include:
- Chanel
- Dior
- Gucci
- Calvin Klein
- Versace
- Dolce & Gabbana
- Burberry
- Yves Saint Laurent
- Estee Lauder
- Givenchy
- Lancome
- Bvlgari
- Paco Rabanne
- Cartier
- Creed
Most brands have a contact page on their site that you can click on to get the brand’s contact details. This could be its email address, or phone number, or contact form.
Choose your preferred method of contact and get in touch to request some free fragrance samples.
5. Follow brands on social media
Following your favorite perfume brands on social media is a great way to not only interact with the company and learn about new products, but it’s also a great way to access exclusive discounts and promo codes that are only announced on their social media pages.
I think the best social media platform for getting perfume freebies is Instagram. So be sure to follow your favorite perfume makers on Insta.
And if you ever write a positive review or comment about a perfume, be sure to tag the company in your post. Those will come in handy if and when you decide to ask them directly for free products.
6. Ask in store
Many department stores and beauty retailers hand out samples at their brick-and-mortar stores.
All you need to do is ask if they have any samples to give you.
People online, on sites like Reddit, report getting free perfume samples at the following stores and brands:
- Macy’s
- Sephora
- Ulta
- Nieman Marcus
- Nordstrom
- Hermes
- Chanel
- Louis Vuitton
- Bloomingdale’s
7. Get free perfume samples with purchase
You can snag some free perfume samples by taking advantage of the free-gift-with-purchase deals that many retailers offer.
Many retailers will give you a free gift when you make a purchase – typically of a certain dollar amount, like $25 for example.
Some places that are known to give free perfume samples with purchase include:
- Ulta
- Sephora
- Macy’s
- The Body Shop
- Lancôme
8. Look inside magazines
Magazines are excellent places to source free samples of men’s fragrances and women’s fragrances.
Typically, perfumes can be found on the advertising pages in the magazine.
If you buy magazines anyway, or the magazine isn’t too expensive, then this can be a cost-effective method for getting perfume samples.
9. Sign up for newsletters
Most companies have weekly or monthly newsletters. Sign up for free and you can be the first one to get access to exclusive new products and offers.
Plus, whenever brands have a new product or campaign, to get it going and create some buzz, they offer huge discounts to their newsletter subscribers. That could include free full size or sample size perfumes.
Usually you can find the sign up link on the company’s website (mostly found in the footer section).
Does Amazon Have Free Perfume Samples?
No!
A Google search for the term “Amazon free perfume samples” does indeed bring up a page on Amazon that’s called “Free Perfume Samples.”
Click on it though and it simply lists fragrance sampler sets that you have to pay for. These cost anywhere from $9 to $35.
Enjoy Your Free Samples of Perfume!
It’s great to save money while still enjoying some wonderful fragrances.
Sure, you may not be able to get all of your favorite perfumes for free, but even if you get a few samples here and there, it adds up.
And if you want to try new scents, you don’t need to spend $20, $50, $100 or more buying something that you may end up not linking and having to throw away.
I think that’s the best thing about getting free perfume samples. You save a lot of money!
